SmartSAT Disclaimer

This page collects, in one place, the limits of what SmartSAT can promise. It forms part of our Terms of Service; where the two overlap, both apply.

1. No score guarantee

Score estimates, readiness indicators and progress projections are statistical inferences from your practice data. They are study feedback, not a prediction or guarantee of your actual SAT result. Real scores depend on test-day conditions, form differences and factors outside our control. Nothing on SmartSAT is a promise of any score, admission or other outcome.

2. AI-generated content may be inaccurate

Practice variants, explanations, tutoring replies, summaries and translations are produced by large language models. They can be wrong, incomplete or misleading, including in ways that look confident and plausible. Treat them as practice material, and check anything that matters against official College Board materials or your teacher. If you find an error, please report it — that is how the question bank improves.

3. Displayed information, including prices, may contain errors

Prices, plan contents, dates, counts and other information on the site may be inaccurate, out of date or affected by display or generation errors. Where a price or benefit is shown incorrectly we may correct it, and we are not obliged to provide the service at the erroneous price. Anything that looks wrong should be confirmed with us before you rely on it.

4. Payments are final

Except where a refund is required by applicable law or has been agreed by us in writing, payments and subscription charges are final and non-refundable, including for unused time in a billing period.

5. Not professional advice

SmartSAT provides exam-preparation materials only. It is not academic counselling, admissions advice, psychological, medical, financial or legal advice, and it does not replace a teacher, tutor or counsellor.

6. No guarantee of uninterrupted service

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". It may be unavailable or degraded because of maintenance, updates, capacity limits, network problems or failures at third-party providers, and this can happen without notice — including during a practice exam. Do not rely on SmartSAT being available at a specific moment.

7. Data may be lost

We take reasonable measures to protect and back up your data, but we cannot guarantee that practice history, notes or other content will never be lost, corrupted or deleted. Export or keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

8. Third-party content and links

SmartSAT may reference or link to third-party materials and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability or practices.

9. No affiliation with the College Board

SAT® and PSAT/NMSQT® are registered trademarks of the College Board, which is not affiliated with, does not sponsor and does not endorse SmartSAT. Trademarks are used only to identify the exams this product prepares students for.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, SmartSAT is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the content, estimates or availability of SmartSAT. The limitations of liability in section 11 of the Terms of Service apply to this Disclaimer. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this may not apply to you.
